Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly.

No elevator or signs for an elevator and no refrigerator in the room.

Overall our stay was good. However, there were a few little things that didn't sit too well. Housekeeping knocking on our door at 8:30 a.m. (not good if trying to sleep in). No elevator for people who don't do stairs well. German food in the restaurant was less than desirable but breakfast was good once we received it. ...read more

Loved having room service, love the convenient location of the hotel and
love the spacious room.

Boys hockey team wrecked ping pong table, etc. weekend before! Careless, not being watched, ruins things for others.

For the 2nd year in a row, the boys hockey team that stayed there did ruin part of our visit. Last year they were there on the same weekend, and made a mess - pizza on the floor, on the ping pong table, everywhere. Unsupervised! This year they were there weekend before and damaged things that we could not therefore enjoy - Foosball table, ping pong table, pool table. Very disappointing. Management either needs to not allow them back so they don't ruin other people's vacation, or they need to keep an eye on them during their stay and demand they stay in line. The room was spacious, updated and clean for as old as the hotel is. Help was very friendly.

Stairway wasn't real convenient and long cut up hallways.

The hotel to stay in in New Ulm. The hotel is obviously older, but kept very updated and clean. The staff was great. It will be our first choice when we go back to New Ulm.

Hotel was in a nice location and had a fun bar.

Hotel is a little dated. Got terrible service in restaurant.

We enjoyed our stay at the holiday inn. It is located almost within walking distance of the Schell brewery. It has a lot of German styling, so was kind of cute, but a little older. Room was smallish but clean. Had terrible service in the restaurant - hopefully just a bad day. Bar was fun but not many people. ...read more
